How did the devils advocats come about?

We met in continuation school and wanted to start a psychobilly band with some balls. We felt at the time that psychobilly in the states was getting soft!

How would you describe your sound?

I think our sound is best described as vicious, high-energy psychobilly with lots of extreme hard rock influence.

Who have you guys played with in the past?

Calvera, Koffin Kats, Hellbound Hayride, Sasquatch and the Sick-a-billys, the Slanderin, the Crimson Ghosts, Karling Abbeygate, the Formaldehydes, Psycho Demons, the Curs, the Howlers, etc.

You guys are playing with Los Gatos locos? Looking forward to that?

Fuck yeah! We saw Los Gatos Locos back when they played the first annual West Coast Wrecker’s Ball. It’s great to see them back on the stage.

Daniel’s stand up bass looks homemade, is it?

Yeah it is. Dan used to have a normal bass, but he broke it so he used parts to build a coffin bass.

Do you guys make coffin basses to sell? They look really cool.

Yes depending on what you want I’ll figure out what I need and give you a bid. If you like it... I need half the money up front then I’ll get it to you in about two weeks once I've received the final payment and you have tried out the bass.

What do you guys have out? A demo? Any merch?

Yes, we have a 7 song demo and very little merch.

Who would people need to contact to get any of it?

To get ahold of our demo or merch you have to e-mail us or MySpace us telling us you want to be in the fan club, then we will send you all kinds of free stuff as it develops.

Any last words of wisdom you would like to leave us with?

Band beef is lame high school shit!
