Remember those old horror films like I was a Teenage Frankenstein? You know the ones that really weren’t scary but more exploitative? Remember the surf band that plays in the background? That’s the Demon Seeds! This record is chock full of good old-fashioned horror surf. It makes me want to rent a whole bunch of old cheesy horror movies and have a good laugh at them. Seriously though this is a great CD. Two of the members of Crimson Ghosts make up this band that plays great surf music set to lyrics that sound like those old teenage horror movies. High spots here go to “Bloody Mary”, “Rock Around the Tombstone”, “Bloodsucker’s Lament”, and “Slaughter on 2nd”. Pick up your own copy at the Dead Boy store.
