By All Means - What You Make Of It

Suddenly it’s like 1995 and I am just out of high school. See, I pretty much grew up at the Showcases Theatre in Corona, California and watched just about every band that went through that place. Tons of bands off of labels like Dr. Strange, Fat Wreck, Epitaph, Lookout and tons more. This CD seriously reminds me of those times. It isn’t a bad thing. It takes me back to a time when I was just falling in love with this style of music. This album is full of that South Bay style punk rock. I’m seriously reminded of early Strung Out and Good Riddance, but the vocals sometimes remind me of Fat Mike of NOFX when he isn’t being snotty. This is definitely not a sound that I hear much anymore and it’s a welcome change of pace. The more I listen to this the more I like it. Stand out tracks include “Where You Go”, “RC”, and “A Pathway”
