Can you tell me a little bit about A Bloody Epitaph?

We’re a deathcore band from the Inland Empire (Laughs) Its confusing what bands call themselves nowadays as in genres, so we just call ourselves deathcore.

When you guys write your music, who do you look to for inspiration?

Our biggest inspiration would have to be the Black Dahlia Murder and At the Gates. Both these bands have really catchy stuff, which we try to use in our song writing.

What kind of bands are you guys listening to right now?

Abigail Williams, Wintersun, Amon Amarth, The Acacia Strain, Sons of Azrael, All Shall Perish, a lot of death metal, but also some metal bands with heavy parts like breakdowns and such, as All Shall Perish and The Acacia Strain.

Where have you guys played?

We have played all over the Inland Empire. We also have played Pomona, Corona, San Diego, LA, and Apple Valley. We are hoping to go up north this summer for a little tour.

You have a demo coming out in November, how is that coming along?

It’s coming along great, we been taking our time writing the songs instead of rushing it like some bands do. By taking our time, I think we have more technical and catchy riffs, which is going to make this new E.P demo stand out more then our last demo.

Any upcoming shows?

We have our E.P. demo release show on November 22 with All Shall Perish Arsis and the Faceless.

Where can people find your merch?

At our shows, or if you know us or see us a lot, come up and talk to us and will work something out for the kids who live out of our city limit we probably won’t have a PayPal up until we have a new batch of merchandise.

You're playing with All Shall Parish, you must be pretty excited about that?

Oh yes! I really like this band even with their old line-up. I’ve always thought about playing a show with these guys and now I finally get to do so. Just like everyone else in our band I am pretty stoked.

Anything else you would like to add, anything I forgot?

Be sure to come to our E.P demo release show on November 22 with All Shall Perish and Arsis. That’s about it. Thank you for the interview.
