How and when did you get together to start the most amazing hardcore band on the planet?
It started as a joke between a few friends, then after a few shows it was so amazing that we started to be serious with it.
Who came up with the name "Fight Everyone!”?
The original bass player, Beaver, came up with the name as a joke.
Who are all the members?
The current line up is Zack Whitmer, Mikaela Domingo and Will Morlan on vocals, Wes Dagget on Guitar, Logan Whitmer on Samples, Matt Maraia on Bass and Taylor Young on Drums. There will probably be a small lineup change soon as we are trying to fill the 2nd Guitar-player void.
Who writes the lyrics?
The lyrics are written separately between all 3 singers, one singer per song.
What label are you under?
We are currently signed to New Age Records. We love Mike Hartsfield and everything he does for us.
Has everyone always been straight edge in the band?
Not all of us, but it is sometimes better to know the dark paths to help avoid them. Our experiences have changed us into better people.
What has influenced you to be a straight edge band?
Most of us grew up listening to bands like Earth Crisis, Floorpunch, Another Victim, Path of Resistance, Carry On and a number of others. However, it's not just the bands that we listen to that influence us to do this, it's also the fact that straight edge is dying everywhere. We feel like we need to do something to educate the new breed of kids.
Have you played with any bands who have influenced you to play the music you do?
Yes, just recently we played with both Earth Crisis and Path of Resistance. It was nothing short of a dream come true.
Is there anything you regret?
Our band name, not a day goes by that we don't regret that.
Do you have any advice for kids out there?
Straight Edge isn't supposed to make you hurt people or force anything down anyone's throat. We're supposed to use this to make ourselves better people. We are here to influence, not to force
